Method 3: Game

Play a game with your team to uncover points of conflict. This allows everyone to be heard and arms the product leader with information they need to prioritize features.
This is inspired by , Sr Director of Product Management at Uber. It’s meant to foster discussion on conflicting views, not make decisions democratically. Ultimately the product leader should decide which features to prioritize.

How to Play

Share this doc with your team and schedule a meeting to play the game.
At the beginning of the meeting, each person votes for where they stand on each feature - either for, neutral, or against.
The table will automatically be sorted with the most conflicted features at the top.
As a team, discuss each feature, starting with the highest conflict scores. The goal is to hear and understand conflicting points of views.
At the end of the game, the product leader compiles everyone’s input and makes a decision on which features should be prioritized

Tips

Have fun! Haggling and bribing are allowed :)
