Navigate LinkedIn Search

Understanding how to navigate LinkedIn can be incredibly valuable for finding leads and referrals. Here are a few steps to look up your 1st, 2nd, and sometimes 3rd degree connections.

Go to your LinkedIn profile and click connections. It will take you to the following search page.

Then, you can select All Filters and add specific criteria. i.e the school you went to, companies you’ve worked at or look interesting, titles, location. Feel free to explore different searches and don’t worry if you don’t recognize a lot of these people. It’s possible they are 2nd/3rd degree connections - friends of friends, cousin’s colleagues, it could be anyone! If you come across a good profile that might be a fit, it still counts as a

lead⁠
