Closing

Get more of your best candidates over the finish line.
After all the effort you’ve put into attracting and interviewing great candidates, you’ll want to ensure you can close the deal when it comes to offer time. Here are three ways to help get them over the finish line:
1-c

Make it easy for hiring teams to see when candidates are nearing the finish line and it’s time to pull out all the stops.

2-c

Demystify compensation by providing candidates with a clear, compelling offer model.
3-c

Win the hearts of candidates by connecting them with the team and making them feel wanted and welcome.
Read on for more about how to implement these approaches, and get started with our free templates.

1. Stay close to the close with a centralized offer tracker.

To create a repeatable, effective closing process, work with your team to identify what types of activities will maximize your chance of getting a candidate to say yes. Then, use that as your blueprint for closing. This ensures that you take all your best shots, and lets teammates collaborate on notes to make sure they’re selling based on what the candidate cares about the most.

2. Help candidates truly understand their offer.

Top recruiting teams go the extra mile to make sure candidates are well-informed and understand the value of the company’s offer. This we use at Coda helps demystify the often complex compensation structures and helps candidates compare their offer against alternatives across different growth scenarios.
By offering a clear and easily understandable way to think about their total compensation, candidates are equipped with all the information they need, presented in an accessible manner. This transparency not only fosters trust but also ensures that candidates can make informed decisions with confidence.

3. Stand out to candidates on an emotional level.

Your candidates aren’t just deciding on a job; they’re making a decision on who they’ll be working with and the type of team that they’ll belong to for the near future. Take creative and thoughtful measures to help them connect with the team and stand out on an emotional level. At this point you should know enough about your candidate to add a personal touch!
Congratulations sent in a will not only reinforce the offer, but provide a central place where they can see everything from benefits to fun gifs and notes from the team.
